Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt of choice)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup granola (choose your favorite mix)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (or carob chips for a healthier option)

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into thick rounds (about 1/2 inch thick). Lay the banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart to prevent sticking.

Create the Yogurt Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Coat the Banana Slices: Using a spoon or a spatula, generously coat each banana slice with the yogurt mixture, covering both sides lightly.

Add Crunch: After coating the banana slices with yogurt, sprinkle granola and dark chocolate chips on top. Press gently to help them adhere to the yogurt.

Freeze: Carefully place the yogurt-covered banana slices back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Once all the slices are coated and topped, put the baking sheet in the freezer.

Freeze Until Firm: Allow the banana yogurt disks to freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the disks from the parchment paper. You can store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month. Enjoy them straight from the freezer as a refreshing snack!
