Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon minced garlic (about 3 cloves)

1 teaspoon ginger paste (or freshly grated ginger)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

Green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, mix honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger paste, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

Marinate the Wings: Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the marinade. Toss until the wings are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour; for best flavor, let them marinate overnight.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 350°F or 175°C). If using charcoal, make sure to have an even layer of coals. For a gas grill, preheat with the lid closed.

Prepare the Grill Racks: Oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking. You can use a paper towel soaked in oil and tongs for safe application.

Grill the Wings: Remove the wings from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Place them on the grill. Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally until the wings are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).

Glaze with Remaining Marinade: In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the chicken wings with the remaining marinade for added flavor. Be sure to turn the wings and reapply the glaze as needed.

Check for Doneness: Make sure the wings are crispy on the outside and fully cooked inside. If desired, move the wings to a hotter part of the grill for a few minutes to achieve a crispy finish.

Serve: Carefully remove the wings from the grill and place them on a serving platter. Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce (like ranch or blue cheese) on the side!
