Ingredients

8 slices of brioche bread

4 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

2 tablespoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

8 breakfast sausage links (fully cooked)

2 tablespoons butter (for cooking)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Powdered sugar (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the French Toast Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Slice the Bread: Using a round cookie cutter (or a glass), cut each piece of brioche bread into circles to create mini rounds.

Dip the Bread: Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Dip each round of brioche into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak on both sides for about 10-15 seconds.

Cook the French Toast: Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt. Place the soaked bread rounds in the skillet (in batches if necessary) and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and keep warm.

Cook the Sausages: In the same skillet, add the sausage links and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes on each side.

Assemble the Sliders: Take one round of mini French toast, place a sausage link on top, then add another round to create a sandwich. Press down gently to secure.

Serve: Arrange the sliders on a platter, drizzle with maple syrup, and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.
