Ingredients

1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced

1 ripe pineapple, peeled, cored, and cubed

2 cups mixed salad greens (arugula, spinach, and romaine)

1 bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 avocado, diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

¼ cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

1 teaspoon garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, lime juice, sesame oil, minced ginger, and garlic. Add the thinly sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.

Prepare the Pineapple: While the beef marinates, cube the pineapple and set it aside. You can also grill the pineapple pieces for extra flavor if desired.

Cook the Beef: Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Remove excess marinade from the beef and cook it in the hot skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. If you are grilling, you may want to use skewers for easy handling.

Assemble the Salad: In a large serving bowl or plate, layer the salad greens. Add the sliced bell pepper, red onion, diced avocado, cherry tomatoes, and the grilled or fresh pineapple.

Add the Beef: Once the beef has finished cooking, let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces. Place the beef on top of the salad.

Dress the Salad: Drizzle with any remaining marinade (if cooked) or a splash of lime juice. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro, salt, pepper, and chili flakes if using. Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds for crunch.

Serve: Toss gently to combine or serve as is, allowing each diner to mix their own salad. Enjoy your Tropical Beef & Pineapple Fusion Salad Bowl!
