10 fresh jalapeños

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

10 slices of bacon

Fresh cilantro or chives for garnish (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Jalapeños: Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the seeds and membranes (wear gloves if desired to protect your hands from the spice).
