Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger until fully combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the glaze over the fillets, making sure they are well coated. Reserve the other half of the glaze for later. Let the salmon marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Sear the Salmon: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Once hot, remove the salmon from the marinade (discard the marinade) and season the fillets with salt and pepper. Place the salmon fillets in the hot skillet, skin-side down. Sear for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.

Bake the Salmon: Gently transfer the salmon fillets (skin-side down) to the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the reserved glaze. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm with lime wedges on the side. Drizzle with any remaining glaze, if desired.
